  1. Minimum Concentration to kill all trypanosomes (MIC) was determined microscopically after 24 h of exposure. Assays were performed starting with 4 × 105 trypanosomes in 0.5 ml. CA: cis-aconitate 20 mM = 3.48 mg/ml.
