NMHC impeded tumor development in a human AML xenograft model.
5 × 106 HL-60 cells were subcutaneously injected into female nude mice. When tumor volume reached 100 mm3, 40 mg/kg NMHC (n = 5) or NS (n = 5) was administrated once each day. (a) Tumor volumes were measured every other day post-injection and presented as square (untreated) or round (treated) symbols with mean values ± SD. (b) Representative tumor images were shown upon normal saline or NMHC treatments for 10 days. (c) Tumor weights were exhibited as square (untreated) or round (treated) symbols.
