To elucidate the effect of CTMP on cell invasive phenotype, a Transwell chamber assay using Matrigel was performed. Each cell line was seeded onto a filter (pore size, 8 μm) coated with Matrigel in the upper chamber. After 48 h of transfection with CTMP-specific cDNA (A,C) or siRNA (B,D), the cells attached to the lower chamber were stained with crystal violet.
