Each cell line was transiently transfected with CTMP-specific cDNA (A,C) or siRNA (B,D). Expression of CTMP, E-cadherin (epithelial marker), epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) markers (vimentin), and the level of EMT-inducing transcription factors (Snail and Slug) were measured by Western blot analysis. Each band is representative of three independent experiments. Scr, scrambled.
