(A) MLVEC monolayers were treated with HMGB1 and 125I-albumin. After 30 min, the cells were lysed for radioactivity detection. *Compared with the control group, p < 0.05. (B) MLVEC monolayers were treated with HMGB1 and AlexaFluor 488-labeled albumin. After 30 min, the cells were examined by confocal microscopy to quantify the amount of albumin endocytosed. For each group, n = 4 to 6.
