From: siRNA capsulated brain-targeted nanoparticles specifically knock down OATP2B1 in mice: a mechanism for acute morphine tolerance suppression

Intracellular accumulations for morphine, M3G and M6G determined by HPLC-MS/MS in HEK293-hOATP2B1 and HEK293-MOCK cells.

Each final concentration of 0.25 μM for atorvastatin, fluvastatin, estrone-3-sulfate (E-3-S), morphine, M3G and M6G was incubated with HBSS (pH7.4) solution at 37 °C for 20 min. Cyclosporine A (CsA, 2.2 μM) was used as OATP2B1 inhibitor to co-incubate with all these compounds in HBSS (pH7.4) solution at 37 °C for 20 min. The data was expressed as mean ± SEM (n = 3). Pairwise comparisons were calculated by student t-test to calculate P values (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001).
