Expression of miR-125a-3p in the cerebrospinal fluid of MS patients.

A significant increase in the relative expression of miR-125a-3p was found by RT-PCR in the cerebrospinal fluid of active MS patients (n = 11) compared to control (C; n = 13; p value = 0.004), Alzheimer (AD; n = 17; p value = 0.004) and inactive MS (n = 19; §p = 0.0545) groups. Data were expressed as mean ± SEM; *p ≤ 0.05, **p < 0.01 Unpaired t test.
