To reduce the first-night effect, we have applied an additional nocturnal NPSG session on the first night (Night 0) before performing the main study on the second and third nights (Nights 1 and 2). After Nights 1 and 2, participants underwent fMRI while performing n-back tasks (0-, 1-, and 2-back tasks).
