From: Pterostilbene induces apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma cells
Pterostilbene inhibits the growth of implanted OCI-LY8 cells in a xenograft mouse model.
OCI-LY8 human DLBCL cells (5 × 106) were subcutaneously injected into the upper flank region of 6-week-old male nude mice. After the tumor size reached an approximate volume of 100 mm3, mice were randomly assigned into two groups: one group was intravenous DMSO/saline only (control), and the other group was administered pterostilbene by intravenous injection (30 mg/kg/2 days) for 20 days.
