(a) Cell viability was assessed with a MTS assay after hASCs were incubated with 40, 80, 160 and 320 μM H2O2 for 24 h; 0 μM H2O2 was used as the control group. (b,c) The levels of intracellular ROS at 1 h and 24 h were determined after hASCs were incubated with H2O2 at the above concentrations. The production of ROS was quantified by the amount of cellular DCF synthesis. The fluorescence intensity was measured using flow cytometry. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 compared to the control group. The results indicate the mean ± SD of triplicate experiments.
