  • Optically stimulated vibrational control for materials has the potential to improve the performance of optoelectronic devices. The vibrational control of FAPbBr3 perovskite solar cells has been demonstrated, where the fast dynamics of coupling between cations and inorganic sublattice may suppress non-radiative recombinations in perovskites, leading to reduced voltage losses.

  • Kim et al. report a strategy to reduce the dynamic disorder of the perovskite lattice by using CMMs that adsorb on the surface of PeNCs via van der Waals interactions and hydrogen bonding. The resulting pure green LEDs satisfying the Rec. 2020 color standard show a high EQE of 26.1%.

  • The two-dimensional layered crystal structure of niobium oxide polymorph T-Nb2O5 exhibits fast Li-ion diffusion that is promising for energy storage applications. Epitaxial growth of single-crystalline T-Nb2O5 thin films with ionic transport channels oriented perpendicular to the surface are now demonstrated.
