Arif Luqman et al. demonstrate that trace amines accelerate wound healing by antagonizing β2-adrenergic receptor whose activation inhibits cell motility. This study suggests that trace amine-producing Staphylococcus epidermidis strains present on human skin may play a beneficial role for wound healing.
