A method called mediated electrochemical probing (MEP) was developed, which enables the rapid conversion of information about structural perturbations of proteins into convenient, readily accessible electronic data. MEP was used to detect structural variants of a monoclonal antibody by discerning patterns associated with the antibody’s mediator-accessible redox activity.
