Secondary nucleation is an approach to synthesizing higher-order supramolecular polymers with exciting topologies, but a detailed understanding of growth processes is needed. Here, the authors report the non-covalent synthesis and high chiro-optical photoresponse of dendritic homochiral superstructures via a secondary nucleation elongation process.
