Episodic sediment erosion occurred in partially silted Sanmenxia and Xiaolangdi reservoirs during the 2019 flooding and regulation-induced drawdown conditions in the Yellow River, China, according to quantitative assessments of episodic reservoir erosion effects on fluvial sediments.
