Gamboa et al. develop a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapeutic strategy based on synthetic antigens that are delivered to the tumor by lipid nanoparticles and demonstrate the therapeutic efficacy of their approach using CAR T cells directed against the synthetic antigen.
