Coherent steering of nonlinear chiral valley photons with a synthetic Au–WS₂ metasurface

By entangling the phase and spin of light, a synthetic metasurface is shown to be able to coherently manipulate the valley-exciton-locked chiral emission in monolayer tungsten disulfide at room temperature. The findings will be of benefit to advanced room-temperature and free-space nonlinear, quantum and valleytronic nanodevices.

Tunable VO₂ cavity enables multispectral manipulation from visible to microwave frequencies

We cascade VO₂-based tunable optical cavities with selective-transparent layers to overcome the wavelength dependence, realizing the multispectral manipulation with reversible tunability covering wavelengths ranging from the VIS to MW regions.

Super-reflector enabled by non-interleaved spin-momentum-multiplexed metasurface

A super-reflector was reported to enable on-demand control of both retroreflections and reflections of circularly polarized wave. Specifically, it performs four-channel abnormal reflections at each incidence of three multiplexed spatial frequencies.
