Active control of magnetoresistance of organic spin valves using ferroelectricity

Organic materials potentially offer a low-cost, flexible and environment-friendly route to spintronics. Here, the authors demonstrate an organic spin-valve device in which an electric field can control both the magnitude and the sign of magnetoresistance.

Suppressing CO_x in oxidative dehydrogenation of propane with dual-atom catalysts

Propane oxidative dehydrogenation offers a promising path for propylene production, but selective propylene formation with minimal COx remains challenging. Here, the authors introduce dual-atom catalysts achieving just 5.2% COx selectivity at 46.1% propane conversion (520 °C) with stable performance for over 1000 hours.

Halide Perovskite glues activate two-dimensional covalent organic framework crystallites for selective NO₂ sensing

2D COFs are promising for resistance-related applications, but usually form powders where poor contacts at grain boundaries inhibit the conductivity. Here authors show that halide perovskites can act as electric glues to bond 2D COFs to improve their conductivity, activating them to detect NO₂ with high selectivity and sensitivity.
