Mental disorders are often linked with cardiometabolic disorders, but the mechanism remains unclear. Here, the authors use comprehensive health data from Denmark and to shed light on the genetic and environmental factors influencing the co-occurrence of six mental disorders and 15 cardiometabolic disorders.
