Terahertz asynchronous twin-comb for prefiguring hypersensitivity beyond spectrum domain

A terahertz twin-comb sensor and an extra-spectrum sensing mechanism are demonstrated, locating characteristic resonance frequency far beyond the system spectral domain. Sensitivities surpass existing terahertz biosensing by four orders of magnitude.
