Mousavi, Chen, Miliku et al. analyse dietary, family, and neighbourhood data from Canadian preschoolers to identify predictors of ultra-processed food intake. They find that higher intake is linked to parental diets, shorter breastfeeding, screen time, having older siblings, and poorer access to jobs and fresh food markets, among other factors.
