Ferrier rearrangement is a key reaction in carbohydrate chemistry, however, harsh conditions limit its efficiency and scalability. Here, the authors develop a sustainable continuous-flow electrochemical method using an undivided microreactor equipped with graphite electrodes, affording a wide range of 2,3-unsaturated glycosyl derivatives in high yields, productivity and electron efficiency.
