Enhanced homeostatic sleep response and decreased neurodegenerative proteins in cereblon knock-out mice

CRBN influences sleep–wake patterns by regulating AMPK, an energy sensor. CRBN deficiency in mice alters the response to SD, suggesting CRBN is a potential target for treating sleep disorders and neurodegenerative diseases.
