Diabetes impairs bone healing through high blood sugar, inflammation, and disrupted bone remodelling. Here, Fu et al. develops a multifunctional hydrogel (AAT-ZCG) that responds to diabetic conditions to lower glucose, scavenge ROS, reduce inflammation, and promote bone repair.
