Glutathione determines chronic myeloid leukemia vulnerability to an inhibitor of CMPK and TMPK

WT- but not T315I-Bcr-Abl CML cells are vulnerable to JMF4073, an inhibitor of TMPK and CMPK. ATF4-mediated upregulation of GSH reduces JMF4073 susceptibility in CML cells. Co-treatment with GSH reducing agent sensitizes these CML cells to JMF4073.
