The iridium-catalyzed direct C–H borylation of arenes has been extensively studied as an efficient method for synthesizing arylboronates, however, homogeneous iridium catalysts are typically air-sensitive and difficult to recover. Here, the authors report a ternary copolymer that serves as an effective support for immobilizing and stabilizing iridium species in pyridine-containing polymer-supported iridium catalysts that enable batch C–H borylation of arenes and continuous flow synthesis of borylated products under air.
