  • Materials with self-healing properties are highly desirable for a wide range of applications, however most self-healing materials developed to date typically require external inputs to initiate or promote self-healing reactions. Here, self-healing perovskite-based photocatalysts that utilize the dynamic equilibrium between the solid-state and dissolved materials are found to heal without any external input.
