Field manipulation of Weyl modes in an ideal Dirac semimetal

The magnetic field is an effective tool for inducing topological phase transitions. Here, the authors tune the direction and strength of the magnetic field in an ideal Dirac semimetal, Bi₄(Br_0.27I_0.73)₄, to demonstrate multiple Weyl modes.

Benchmarking cell type and gene set annotation by large language models with AnnDictionary

A reversal in global terrestrial stilling and its implications for wind energy production

Wind speeds have reduced globally over land since the 1980s. In situ data show that this reversed around 2010, with natural ocean–atmosphere variability thought to drive the wind speed changes, as well as a 17% increase in potential wind energy for 2010–2017 and a boosted wind power capacity factor.
