Efficient amine-assisted CO₂ hydrogenation to methanol co-catalyzed by metallic and oxidized sites within ruthenium clusters

Amine-assisted two-step CO₂ hydrogenation offers an efficient pathway for methanol production. Here, the authors develop Al₂O₃-supported Ru catalysts that achieve exceptional synergy in converting CO₂ to methanol with exceptional selectivity ( > 95%) in a one-pot two-step process.

The functional role of transposable elements (TEs) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains to be explored. Here, the authors identify a liver-TE/KDM1A/HNF4A regulatory axis that promotes HCC growth and suggest therapeutic targeting of KDM1A.
