Cells were transfected with FLAG-tagged RIIβ (RIIβ-FLAG) and either wild-type (WT) or mutant Cα subunits. Shown are representative western blot analyses of Cα and RIIβ after FLAG-tagged RIIβ was immunoprecipitated with a FLAG-specific antibody (IP: FLAG). The western blot analyses in the lower part of the figure (input) control for expression levels of wild-type or mutant Cα and RIIβ. These analyses were repeated in at least six independent experiments with similar results.
