Characterization of a LeprmTagBFP2 reporter allele. a Flow cytometric analysis of enzymatically dissociated femur bone marrow cells from 2-month-old wild-type and LeprmTagBFP2/+ mice, demonstrating that most Lepr-mTagBFP2+ stromal cells were LepR+. 3 mice from 3 independent experiments. Deep imaging of femur bone hemisections from 2-month-old LeprmTagBFP2/+ mice shows that Lepr-mTagBFP2+ cells were perivascular, locating on endomucin+ vessels (b), and Lepr-mTagBFP2+ cells were all LepR+ (c). d Lepr-mTagBFP2+ cells are observed in the hypothalamus of LeprmTagBFP2/+ mice. Data and images are representative of 3 experiments with one mouse per experiment
