a TEVC recording from Xenopus oocytes expressing MtCNGC15b and add 5 mM 3′5′ cGMP. In Ca2+-containing bath solution buffer, 500 μM DIDS was added to inhibit the activity of the Ca2+-activated chloride channel. The I–V curves were obtained from the peak currents at command voltages. The currents had no significant difference in the absence or presence of cGMP (inset panel). Current amplitudes at –140 mV from multiple recordings. Data are presented as means ± SEM, n = 3 biologically independent oocytes. b Structrual superimposition of MtCNGC15b in the presence of 3′5′ cGMP with the apo state. Addition of 3′5′ cGMP results in an identical density map with highly flexible CPD.
