Mutant RAMP2 proteins formed intracellular aggregates. A lower magnification (myc staining, green) showed the expression of wild-type (WT) RAMP2 (a) and mutant RAMP2s (b–g) in COS-7 cells. (a) WT RAMP2 was diffusely distributed within the cytoplasm; (b–g) mutant RAMP2s formed intracellular aggregates. Each experiment was replicated in triplicate.
