Dye-X•+ is created through 532 nm photoinduced electron injection. b In the case of iodide, k reg follows a linear correlation with substituent size, but the cobalt electrolyte tracks more closely with the ΔG rxn for the reaction between Dye-X•+ and [Co(bpy)3]2+ (b and Fig. 1)4,11
