From: Molecular basis for the inhibition of the methyl-lysine binding function of 53BP1 by TIRR
TIRR regulates DSB repair in the BRCA1-deficient cells. Wild-type TIRR or its mutants were expressed in UWB1 (BRCA1-deficient) cells. The cells were treated with 10 Gy of IR. The IRIF of RPA (a) or RAD51 (b) was examined by immunofluorescence staining. Alternatively, the cells were treated with indicated dose of olaparib (PARP inhibitor) for 6 days.
