  1. Apparent contact angles (θr), advancing contact angles (θA), predicted contact angles (θPr), cavity-failing times (tfailing) on immersion, and breakthrough pressures (P). Except for cavity-failing times labeled as ‘Instantaneous’ (t < 200 ms), which were observed at 1500 fps by high-speed imaging, all others cavity-failing times were recorded via confocal microscopy (Methods).
