Slc7a5 alters Kv1.2 expression and current density. a Combinations of Kv1.2, mCherry-Slc7a5, and mEGFP-Slc3a2 were expressed in ltk-mouse fibroblasts. Current density was measured at +60 mV (pulsed from a holding potential of −80 mV). Transfection ratios were (with Kv1.2 maintained constant): Kv1.2:Slc7a5 (2:1); Kv1.2:Slc3a2 (1:1); Kv1.2:Slc7a5:Slc3a2 (2:1:2), n = 14–19 cells.
