Effect of combining SGK1 knockdown and Src inhibitor treatment on tumor growth. a Representative images of tumors. 2 × 105 MDA-MB-231 cells stably transfected with tetracyclin-inducible SGK1 shRNA#2 or empty vector control were injected orthotopically into the fourth mammary fat pad of BALB/c nude mice. Doxycyclin and AZD0530 (AZD) treatment was started 1 day later. Doxycycline was administered in the food and AZD was administered by oral gavage daily at 50 mg/kg.
