Electronic levels in donor:acceptor blends: a IE of F8ZnPc and C60 at different molar contents of C60, as obtained by UPS. b With increasing C60 content, the electrostatic corrections Δ+ of ZnPc and F8ZnPc, being the difference in IE between the thin film and the gas-phase, shift towards −0.6 eV. This value is expected for negligible charge−quadrupole interaction energy (see results in Fig. 2d for very small film coverages). Experimental IE values of ZnPc:C60 blends are taken from the study by Tietze et al.13
