From: Observation of persistent species temperature separation in inertial confinement fusion mixtures

The neutron time-of-flight signal (red) from shot 80691 is obtained from two separate neutron time-of-flight (nTOF) diagnostics positioned 12 and 13.4-m, respectively, from target chamber center (TCC). A forward-fit approach (dashed-red), shown for the DD reaction, using a relativistic energy distribution is used to analyzed the time-of-flight signal to infer the yield and neutron-average ion temperature.
