A transgene expressing C-terminally GFP-tagged MALT-1 from its endogenous promoter (4 kb of upstream DNA) is expressed broadly in the nervous system, including many neurons in the head (red box) and tail (blue box). MALT-1::GFP expression is also seen throughout the pharynx. Similar results were obtained in 3 experiments. White arrows point to neurons, arrowheads point to the pharyngeal bulbs. Scale bar: 20 μm.
