Total protein was isolated from gWAT, proximal tibial RM (pTib RM) and tibial dBMAT of four rats, as described in the ‘Methods’. a Expression of the indicated proteins was then determined by immunoblotting, with ERK1/2 used as a loading control. b Quantification of protein expression from (a).
