Only species for which associations between road exposure and abundance were found to be significant after Bonferroni correction are featured here. The relative effect size of roads (as shown in Fig. 1) is represented by point size. Percentage change in abundance across the interquartile range of road exposure and the relative effect size are not strongly correlated as the former is affected both by the absolute numbers of birds and the range of road exposure present across counts of each species.
