Thermal quenching curves for the red and infrared (IR) emission bands of CaS:Eu0.01Tb0.01, measured upon 470 nm excitation. The black curves are the result of fitting Eqs. (1) and (2) for the red and IR emissions, respectively. The small shoulder ~340 K is likely due to thermoluminescence (TL) and is not explored further here. The gray curve shows the thermal quenching of singly doped CaS:Eu0.01 for comparison.
