a–c The chemical structure and crystal packing of IDTT-CX-TIC with plane to plane distances. In IDTT-C6-TIC, hexyl side chains take a fully extended geometry that stretching out from the conjugated backbone. In IDTT-C8-TIC, octyl side chains adopt a random extension without structure order and crankshaft-type side chain extension. In IDTT-C10-TIC, octyl side chains adopt harpoon type and crankshaft-type side chain extensions. The molecular backbones with different types of side chain extension are marked by blue and yellow color. C6, C8, and C10 represent n-hexyl, n-octyl, and n-decyl side chains, respectively.
