The phylogeny is based on the complete 16S rDNA sequence of “Ca. Sarcina troglodytae” isolate JB1 (arrow and silhouette) and 98 other Clostridia sensu stricto, with Hathewaya histolytica as the outgroup. Gray boxes indicate Clostridium botulinum groups62.
