In the top row, all parameters are considered. In contrast, in the bottom row, the same analysis is performed while fixing the mitigation costs at three distinct levels: low, medium and high costs. Note that for clarity, the square root of the variance—the standard deviation—has been shown: the unit then becomes US$ instead of the square of it. The decomposition with variances is shown in Supplementary Figure 2.2.
