a Mapping of the first derivative of the Hall resistance Ryx as a function of magnetic field B and filling factor ν. The mapping is converted from the original Bn2D mapping data via ν = n2Dh/eB (see also Supplementary Figs. 4 and 5). Plateau transitions between the quantum Hall states (corresponding to the brighter regions in the mapping) indicate the existence of multiple crossings of the Landau levels.
