From: Systemic metastasis-targeted nanotherapeutic reinforces tumor surgical resection and chemotherapy

H@CaPP was intravenously administered to suppress the whole metastasis process. H@CaPP hindered invasion phase via inhibition EMT process in the primary tumor, hindered colonization phase via inhibiting the formation of “micro-thrombi” in the circulation, and hindered the colonization phase via targeting P-selectin in the pre-metastatic niche and inhibiting typical aberrant alterations in the niche.
