Default yield class 18 (m3 ha−1 year−1) for the commercial and unharvested conifer conservation forests, 4 for the semi-natural broadleaf conservation forest and 11 for the mixed conifer-broadleaf conservation forest. Error bars represent full yield ranges presented in Table 1. Commercial forest results are presented for Core and Further Ambition (FA) decarbonisation contexts, and for Hierarchical (Hier.) and Bioenergy (Bioen.) wood use strategies, with differing mitigation contributions from concrete and fossil fuel substitution and carbon storage in harvested wood products (HWP) or long-term geological stores via carbon capture and storage.
